CKG48 is a Chinese idol girl group based in Chongqing, China. It was established in 2017 and it is the 4th sister group of SNH48 to be formed.
On January 19 2019, as part of the SNH48 Group Strategy Shufle, Team C and Team K are disbanded.
On March 16 2019, the group was reformed by bringing some members from Idols FT to perform under the CKG48 name.
On May 13 2021, the Idols Ft members who have been performing with CKG48 is named as official CKG48 members from that day onwards and their Idols FT status was revoked.
On June 02 2023, CKG48 announced that the group will start afresh with a new color (Brown to Gold).
On September 02 2023, which happens to be also the CKG48 Theater Opening Day, CKG48 announce that Team C and Team K will be reformed and the members list for the two teams was officially announced.
